"The Spike Burl" Vase - Manzanita Root Burl and Epoxy Hybrid Vase/Hollow Form - Waterproof

This vase is the subject of my YouTube video titled “The Spike Burl”, and it combines some of the classic attributes of a hollow form into a vase. As some of my hybrid pieces have been likened to a nightscape scene, I was going for something fairly galactic with this piece. This vase is waterproofed with marine grade epoxy and is ready for live flowers and water. However, this piece should be considered somewhat unstable because of the small base design. I did intentionally leave a bit of mass at the bottom of the piece to allow for a lower center of gravity, but this vase can still be a bit tipsy if it is bumped, jostled, or if not balanced properly. The vase measures approximately 9.4 inches tall and about 6 inches wide.
